Dr Faustin Mutwarasibo is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Modern Languages, University of Rwanda. He has been teaching writing and speaking skills in English at the same university since 1998. He obtained his PhD from the University of Linköping, Sweden, in 2013. The topic of his PhD thesis is: Understanding group-based learning in an academic context: Rwandan students’ reflections on collaborative writing and peer assessment. His research interests focus on academic/genre writing and peer assessment, group-based learning, teaching and learning in a multilingual context and graduate attributes (i.e transition between higher education and the world of work).

Language skills, literature, genocide, Rwanda.
