Dr. Pravda Mfurankunda is a lecturer in the School of Arts and Languages, University of Rwanda. He has been teaching speaking, writing and reading skills in English since 1999. His teaching expertise includes among other areas, Academic literacy and Education practice. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts of the ex- National University of Rwanda in 1999, a Master of Education (Applied Linguistics and Language Education) in 2005 at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa; and then a PhD in Education (Language and Literacy) from the same institution (2016). The title of his thesis is ‘Constructing multilingual digital identities: an investigation into Grade 11 learners’ digital practices in relation to English language learning in Rwanda’.
